Covid Protocols
Our practice follows all recommendations made by the
- American Dental Association (ADA)
- the U.S. Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC)
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
Additional measures of protection have been added to our policies and procedures
Confirmation Calls
We will call the day before to pre-screen for your appointment. If the appointment requires a guardian present, please arrange a time with our staff.
Patient Scheduling
We will limit the number of patients we see each day. This will allow us to follow social distancing protocols set forth by the government while giving enough time to each procedure.
Day of Appointment
When you arrive, please call our office. We will have a staff member meet you at the door to take your temperature and complete the pre-screening questions.
We may collect your form of payment to minimize time at the front desk. We will ask you to sanitize your hands.
Reception Area Closed
We will ask you to wait until we call to let you know we are ready to see you.
The reception area is closed. Only patients with appointments and authorized guardians will be permitted to enter the facility.
Length of Appointments
We will extend all patient appointment times to allow for proper screening. Another way of minimizing contact will be to provide same day dental care to limit the number of visits required to fulfill your needs.
Masks
Governmental guidelines state that anyone out in public should wear a mask. Each of you should bring a personal mask to wear when entering and when checking out.
Infection Control/Sanitation
In addition to our normal sanitation procedures, we will allow extended time between usage of a dental room and sanitation of that room to reduce aerosols before wiping down all counter tops, equipment, chairs, computers, etc.
During that time, we will use other, previously sanitized dental rooms. At all times, we will maintain distancing requirements. Front counters, door handles, credit cards, pens and other items will be sanitized between patients.
